Yin Yoga
She who softens, exhales.
Yin yoga is one of the most quietly powerful practices you can give yourself.
Unlike more active styles of yoga, yin is slow, still, and deeply intentional. Poses are held for longer periods of time — typically three to five minutes — allowing the body to gradually release tension held not just in the muscles, but deep within the connective tissue, fascia, and joints. It is the kind of release that a busy, always-on body rarely gets the chance to experience.
But yin yoga is so much more than a physical practice.
When we slow down and become still, we create space for the nervous system to shift out of its constant state of doing and into genuine rest. The breath deepens. The mind begins to quieten. The body — often so braced against the demands of daily life — starts to remember what it feels like to simply be held.
For women who spend their days caring for everyone else, yin yoga offers something rare and precious — permission to receive. To soften. To take up space without needing to produce or perform or be anything at all.
It is not always comfortable at first. Stillness can feel foreign when you have spent years in motion. But within that stillness lives something beautiful — a doorway back to yourself.

Come find your stillness up in the treetops.
Friday mornings at 9:30am, a small group of women gather for something a little different. This is yin yoga as it was always meant to feel — slow, spacious, and deeply nourishing. Settle into long-held poses that melt tension from your fascia, quiet your nervous system, and bring you home to yourself.
With no more than 10 women per class, every single one of you receives hands-on care — think gentle shoulder releases, soothing face massage, and the kind of touch that reminds your body it is safe to soften. Herbal tea is waiting for you. Your only job is to receive.
This is not your average yoga class. This is a sanctuary.
