About Me

Hi, I'm Kat, the woman behind Held by Her Collective.

With over 25 years of experience in the health and wellness industry, my work has always centred around supporting women to feel more connected to themselves, both physically and emotionally.

As a qualified counsellor, facialist, bodyworker and Yin yoga teacher, I've had the privilege of working with many women, in many different spaces, throughout different seasons of their lives.

And over the years, one thing has become increasingly clear to me — there is no single way to support our wellbeing.

No one right answer, no one approach that meets every need.

Because as women, what we need changes. Through different stages of life, different experiences and different challenges, the way we need to be supported changes too.

Sometimes we need a safe, compassionate space to talk, process and make sense of what we're experiencing. Sometimes we need to slow down, move gently and reconnect with our bodies. And sometimes we simply need to surrender to nurturing touch, allowing ourselves to receive care without having to give anything in return.

This understanding is what brought Held by Her Collective to life.

A space where emotional and physical wellbeing are equally valued, and where different forms of care can exist alongside one another.

Through counselling, somatic facial therapy, restorative bodywork and Yin yoga, I offer different pathways to feeling supported, grounded and connected to yourself.

My approach is warm, intuitive and deeply considered. I believe in meeting each woman where she is, recognising that we all arrive with our own experiences, needs and stories.

Whether we're sitting together in conversation, moving through a Yin practice or sharing the quiet connection of therapeutic touch, my intention remains the same — to create a space where you feel seen, supported and cared for.

A space where you don't have to hold everything together.

A space where you can simply be held.

Human Design for Families

Alongside my work with women, I also offer Human Design readings for parents seeking a deeper understanding of their child's individuality.

These readings offer an opportunity to explore your child's unique traits and tendencies through the lens of Human Design, providing another perspective on how you might nurture and support them with greater understanding and connection.
